Everyone has heard of Andrew Tate, at least everyone within my age range. All of my bros love Andrew Tate. For the most part, I do not like him. I will always say the same thing about Andrew Tate: "only 7% of what Tate says is actually Intriguing", although this also means that 93% of what he says is garbage, ignorant, or entertainment. In all honesty, the Vast majority of men and boys in my generation who look up to Tate, only do so in an ignorant way. They are not Intellectual enough to actually decipher and think critically about what he is saying.
So I was out with some of my friends from University, like a month ago. We were talking about dating and life, essentially just catching up. Accordingly, some of my friends believe that a woman’s attraction goes down as her number of Sexual Partners goes up.
Many guys believe that a woman’s value decreases based on the number of men she has sex with. That is sad that actually makes me sad inside. In a Capitalist Society, Women are not Commodities or tangible items. If someone gets a sports car for $36,000, over time yes the value of the vehicle will go down when that car is used constantly off the dealership. That is essentially the way that a lot of guys are considering women, especially if they listen to Andrew Tate. All Andrew Tate does for the guys growing up in today’s proceeding generations is sprue Misogyny framed Intellectually, that’s it. I’m not stating that 100% of what Tate says is bullshit, more like 93%.
Although Andrew Tate does make some Intriguing statements. There is some truth behind the Primitive nature of mate selection among humans. In Prehistoric times, cavemen that have exceptional building capabilities were generally viewed as more attractive by women. Cavemen that could build muscle, build shelters, provide resources, build status in a dominance hierarchy, and protect the family are generally viewed more attractive by women. In Society today, this is actually still prevalent, although in a different way.
In a Capitalist Society, men who have great building skills economically speaking are viewed as more attractive. For Example, Donald Trump is ugly, like he truly is.. But there are women who have found him quite attractive and are willing to be with him. This is because he has built a 9 billion dollar fortune, which is quite remarkable.
So Andrew Tate certainly brings this to light, but the problem is that majority of guys in my generation will not “take this with a grain of salt”; more so they take this in an absolutist way. This is problematic in two different ways. First, Guys see that the women they’re with are only interested in them because of financial stability. Lose the job, lose the girl, got it. The male belief that women will only “love” men based on what he can provide to the relationship. This may be a factor in mate selection, but it isn’t the overall picture. This also shouldn’t be a means to turn guys bitter and generalize this to all women.
Second, guys will perceive that their only role in the relationship is financial stability. I truly despise this in every way possible. Just because mate selection within our evolution was greatly influenced by male power, status, and, resources does not mean that all women only care about those factors.. If you are with someone, then you should never use your income as leverage over them. A lot of my friends say that women initiate the majority of divorces because if they find a man that makes more income then the one they are currently with, then women will divorce and leave. This is very untrue. The real reason women leave is because they have become so miserable and sad in the marriage. Women feel as though they have signed up for arranged slavery in marriage. Since the man goes out and makes the money, everything else falls back on women. Women care for the home, the family (even the guy’s family), making sure all the bills are paid, food is bought, etc.. The appreciation for everything your spouse does around the home lacking significantly. Women are greatly unappreciated and even taken for granted.
So go on, listen to Andrew Tate, manipulate yourself into believing that guys are the ones oppressed in Society.
